For this project, “research artivism” is a dynamic concept that refers to a mode of scholarly engagement and activism that combines research with creative expression. This approach seeks to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and wider public engagement by using visual storytelling, sensory experiences, and other artistic mediums to convey complex research findings and critical perspectives.”
